I've written stories about the house I grew up in and my parents divorce—of the jacaranda tree in our back yard and my grandmother's wedding ring. I've written about being a single mom and watching my baby grow. I've written spells, of course, little reminders of our cosmic roots to keep us going.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eAnd I've written, as well, letters to two people I have loved—letters of forgiveness and acceptance and finality. I don't know what else to say about the book other than I hope it takes you where you need to go, when you need to.
